CUHK pledges :
- to offer 50 voluntary service programmes
As responsible global citizens, staff, students and alumni of CUHK should demonstrate to the world our commitment to society. As CUHK enters its 50th anniversary, 50 voluntary service programmes will be offered as a tribute to the Hong Kong community, its neighbouring region and the world over.
We encourage each CUHK member :
- to undertake 50 hours of volunteer service in 2013
We believe in the joy of serving others. We encourage every CUHK member to offer 50 voluntary hours in serving the community in 2013. You may contribute your professional knowledge and power in any kind of community service anytime you see fit. We believe every CUHK member will honor his/her promise and live up to his/her commitment.
- to join CU50 • Care Service Team
We shall form a “CU50 • Care Service Team” to be led by our Vice Chancellor, Professor Joseph Sung. Team members will actively participate in various social service programmes to be organized throughout the anniversary year. It will be a golden opportunity to come together and send our love to the needy.
