Jointly presented by the Department of English and the Office of the Arts Administrator, and sponsored by the Dr. Tien Chang Lin Technology Innovation Foundation, “The Ninth Chinese Universities Shakespeare Festival” held its performance finals at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall from June 4 to 6.

Twelve competing teams from Hong Kong (The Chinese University of Hong Kong & Lingnan University), Mainland (Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Jishou University, Northeast Normal University, Xiamen University of Technology, Southeast University, Zhejiang Gongshang University, Shenzhen University) and Taiwan (Soochow University) presented scenes from Shakespeare’s famous plays such as Twelfth Night, Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet, Henry V, As You Like It and King Lear.
