I‧CARE - Zheng Sheng College Service Project

CUHK I-CARE Programme and Christian Zheng Sheng College jointly launched the “CUHK – Christian Zheng Sheng College Service Programme” which enabled students of both institutions the chance to experience each other’s campus life and learn from each other.

The opening ceremony of the programme was held at CUHK’s campus on June 18.  Officiating guests include Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor of CUHK and Dr. Alman Chan, Principal of Christian Zheng Sheng College.

After the ceremony, CUHK students showed Zheng Sheng students around the campus.  Zheng Sheng students had a taste of university campus life when they were led to the Satellite Remote Sensing Ground Receiving Station and had a lecture given by Dr. Matthew Pang, Professional Consultant of Institute of Space and Earth Information Science.

CUHK’s hospitality was reciprocated by Zheng Sheng during a 3-day camp at Zheng Sheng campus from June 26-28.  During the camp, 20 CUHK students and members of the “CU50 • Care” Service Team lived and studied with Zheng Sheng students on their Chi Ma Wan campus. It was a unique learning experience to students of both institutions.
